A QUICK half day visit to Braddan School today where all 28 Reception children got to grips with the new iMacs on board the computer bus...
On the agenda today were ‘emotions’ as the children used Comic Life to take pictures using the iMac built-in iSight cameras to create a ‘comic book page’ showing ‘happy’, ‘sad’, ‘tired’ and so on, faces. These then had special filters applied before they added a colourful name at the top.
At the beginning the Computer Bus man gave the Reception children a tour of the bus itself, including a look at the driving controls and a listen to the engine revving...

A PICTURE from the Computer Bus Man’s past - his school bus parked outside Braddan School en route from Douglas High School to Glen Vine back in 1975.

No 6, a Leyland Tiger Cub still exists, preserved on the Island looking much as it did 40 years ago.
