TUDOR HOUSES are a distinctive feature of the English landscape, with their timber frames, ‘wattle and daub’, tiled roof and brick chimney.
Capturing these features in 3D was a task handed out to class 3A - and given this was their FIRST go on the incredible ‘Sketchup’ software, the results were truly fit for a king.
In the afternoon, Year 1 tackled a more modern Sketchup task - ‘Manhattan island’ - a really good way into 3D modelling for the younger user, and once again the skyscrapers were spectacular.
The session was a little cut short as the computerbus man had to shoot off to Leeds for a DCSF conference the next morning.
But he’ll be back on Thursday for the TT Races with Year 6, and funny faces with Reception...
