ComputerBus is based in an ex-Isle of Man National Transport Leyland National single decker bus. The vehicle was new to the Isle of Man in 1977 as number 30 (MAN 30N). It is a Leyland National 11251a/1R fitted with a B53F body, chassis number 04429.

MAN 30N operated a National 'farewell tour' on the last day of operation on December 27th 1997 over routes it once frequented by the type. The end of an era, which had spanned 23 years of continuous Leyland National operation on the Isle of Man by both IOM Road Services and its various successors.

The vehicle was the last of the line and was to form the basis of a state-of-the-art, long-lived facility to take computer education in the Isle of Man into the 21st Century!
