ONCE AGAIN it was a case of introducing Year 2 to the idea of making pictures using draw graphics on Apple’s Pages (page layout). Along the way the boys and girls learned how to ‘alt+drag’ to duplicate shapes, use keyboard shortcuts to ‘undo’ mistakes, the ‘backspace’ key to delete unwanted items and to ‘right-click’ to send objects to the front or back.
The latter was especially important when it came to putting in the land and the sky - as the big rectangles of colour had to be sent to the back so that the animals can be seen.
In school, the task will now be to create their own ‘jungle’ animals (BELOW), to fit in with their topic.
